Profile Types

At LoonEh!, we want you to have control over your account. This is why we implemented the “Profile Types” option, where you can select the right profile that matches your needs. Below is a list of all our currently available profile types, with more coming in the near future.

General Users

“User” is the default profile that we encourager most members to select, such as those who are simply here to share their ideas, content, lifestyle, discussions, and other forms of expression.

This profile is not for businesses, artists, organizations, public figures, or other non-commercial entities.

Artists

Unlike most social platforms, we offer artists and similar creators a special badge to show on their profile. Artists can also create groups related to their profile to share their art to their audience.

Soon, artists will be able to feature their best work and offer commerce options for their followers.

Businesses & Corporations

We encourage all businesses, big or small, to select this profile type, as it gives them more control over their feed, messaging system, reviews or testimonials, and related groups.

Coming soon, businesses will be able to advertise to specific audiences to create a better experience for their audience.

Organizations

We offer this profile type to all organizations, charities, non-profit, and more, allowing you to showcase your unique badge and engage with your specific audience.

Public Figures

This profile type is gauged towards those in the public eye, whether it be influencers, social media creators, government officials, and any other public-sector creators.

You can enjoy a unique badge and additional controls with your audience. Coming soon to public figures are featured content on personal feeds and more.

Verified Profiles and Verification Steps

LoonEh! offers a free way for all profile types (except for “Users”) to become verified, including but not limited to businesses, organizations, public figures, government agencies, charities, corporations, entrepreneurs, and so much more.

To inquire about verification, we encourage you to contact us via email at verification@looneh.ca, where we will respond with the required information related to your profile type. This may include business details, personal ID verification, and more, in compliance with Canadian privacy and protection laws. We will never request social security or insurance information, credit card details, banking data, or personal questions that do not fulfill verification requirements.

To be verified, members of LoonEh! must fulfill the following:

  1. Not be a “User”, as these are for members who simply use LoonEh! for fun, networking, connecting with friends, sharing ideas and content, etc.
  2. Have a verifiable business or organization identification number to prove your entity exists (except “Public Figures” who must have access to personal ID and branding details
  3. Accept all Terms and Conditions, including our Privacy Policy, with no current violations

Canadian business and members will receive expedited verification due to LoonEh! being hosted in Canada and to support our fellow Canadian workers and creators 🍁

Report

Targeted abuse, bullying, or intimidation directed at an individual or group. This includes threats, stalking, intimidation, and repeated unwanted interactions.
The post promotes or facilitates illegal activities such as drug sales, hacking, human trafficking, or other criminal behavior.
Someone is pretending to be another person, brand, or organization in a misleading or deceptive manner.
Contains content that is explicit, mature, graphic, or otherwise unsuitable for the platform. This may include nudity, extreme violence, or disturbing material.
Spreads false or misleading information that could cause harm, confusion, or public distrust. This includes manipulated content, conspiracy theories, or medical/scientific falsehoods.
Contains hate speech, discriminatory language, or derogatory remarks targeting individuals or communities based on race, gender, religion, disability, or other protected attributes.
Includes spam, scams, phishing attempts, malware, or other deceptive practices designed to mislead users, steal information, or exploit vulnerabilities.
A post contains violent threats, incitement of violence, or glorification of harm against individuals, groups, or communities.
