LoonEh! encourages open and meaningful conversations while maintaining a safe, respectful, and lawful communication space for all users. To ensure this, users must adhere to the following guidelines when sending messages on the platform:

Appropriate Use of Messaging

  • Messages should be used for constructive conversations, networking, social engagement, and business interactions
  • Discussions should remain respectful, inclusive, and free from harassment, hate speech, or discriminatory language
  • Users must not use messaging to spam, scam, or engage in deceptive or fraudulent behavior
  • Any form of harassment, threats, bullying, or intimidation through direct messages is strictly prohibited
  • Users must not share false, misleading, or manipulative content intended to deceive others

Legal and Security Considerations

  • LoonEh! retains messages for up to 12 months , after which they may be deleted or anonymized unless legal, regulatory, or security concerns require extended retention
  • Messages may be accessed only when legally required , such as in response to law enforcement requests, legal disputes, or platform security audits
  • Users are responsible for the content of their messages and must ensure that they do not share illegal, harmful, or otherwise restricted content
  • Private discussions are not monitored in real-time , but violations of our Terms (such as reports of abuse, threats, or illegal activity) may result in investigation and necessary enforcement action

File Sharing Policy

LoonEh! allows users to share photos, videos, and documents through messaging and public posts, provided they comply with our content policies and legal standards. If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website could download and extract location data. You can see if your file has location data usually in your image info or properties screen.

Permitted File Types

Users may share:

  • Personal and business-related images, such as profile photos, artwork, or promotional content
  • Videos and media that align with LoonEh!’s content policies
  • Documents relevant to professional or community discussions
  • Legal and informative materials that do not violate intellectual property laws

Prohibited File Content

  • Explicit adult content , including nudity, pornography, and sexually suggestive material
  • Violent or graphic content , including depictions of harm, self-harm, or criminal activity
  • Illegal materials , such as drug-related content, unlicensed firearms, or illicit substances
  • Personal security details , including but not limited to Social Insurance Numbers (SIN), passport information, banking details, or financial account credentials
  • Hate speech or discriminatory content aimed at attacking individuals or groups based on race, gender, religion, or other protected attributes
  • Files containing malware, viruses, or other security threats
  • Deepfake or misleading altered content designed to deceive or manipulate

Enforcement and Reporting

  • Violations of this policy may result in content removal, account suspension, or legal action
  • Users can report inappropriate messages or file uploads through the platform’s reporting tools
  • Repeated violations may result in permanent bans and referral to law enforcement where necessary

Report

Targeted abuse, bullying, or intimidation directed at an individual or group. This includes threats, stalking, intimidation, and repeated unwanted interactions.
The post promotes or facilitates illegal activities such as drug sales, hacking, human trafficking, or other criminal behavior.
Someone is pretending to be another person, brand, or organization in a misleading or deceptive manner.
Contains content that is explicit, mature, graphic, or otherwise unsuitable for the platform. This may include nudity, extreme violence, or disturbing material.
Spreads false or misleading information that could cause harm, confusion, or public distrust. This includes manipulated content, conspiracy theories, or medical/scientific falsehoods.
Contains hate speech, discriminatory language, or derogatory remarks targeting individuals or communities based on race, gender, religion, disability, or other protected attributes.
Includes spam, scams, phishing attempts, malware, or other deceptive practices designed to mislead users, steal information, or exploit vulnerabilities.
A post contains violent threats, incitement of violence, or glorification of harm against individuals, groups, or communities.
