This is a great step forward. While it may take a bit of fine-tuning, it’s completely understandable that it will take some time for LoonEh to settle on a design that works consistently across all elements, including graphics and the logo.
A common approach used by other platforms is to offer users a small selection of themes or “flavours” to… Read more

We’re wondering if you would like us to enforce security further on LoonEh! by upgrading your log in system to contain two-factor authentication?
This would ask you for a security code from a secure encryption or authentication app or sent to your email to log in each time, protecting your account from others 🤔
-
I’m in favour of implementing two-factor authentication. While login habits vary from user to user—personally, I tend to stay logged in even when my device is asleep—adding this security layer aligns with best practices across major social media platforms.

Yes, we know the irony.
We’re building a Canadian platform to move away from billionaire monopolies like Meta—and yet, we are on Meta. But there’s a reason for that. Actually, a few.
We’re there because: 🇨🇦 Canadians are still there.
We can’t build a movement in an empty room. We need to meet people where they are—not wait for them to…-
You’re making an incredible impact—truly inspiring to see! Please continue pushing forward with passion and purpose. Keep growing, innovating, and building momentum. Now is the time to move decisively, outpace the competition, and carve out your space using every tool and resource available.
Let’s go, LoonEh—full speed ahead! Elbows up, eyes forward!

You may sometimes hear us refer to a bunch of you Loons as the #TheRaft and that’s a reference to what a group of Loons refers to. Other terms people may use to identify a social gathering are asylum, cry, or water dance 🍁

Who’s a #FamousCanadian that inspires you? 💪
I’ll go first: Frederick Banting 🧪🔬

Laura. Secord
Laura Secord is considered a Canadian heroine because she bravely walked 32 kilometers (20 miles) behind enemy lines during the War of 1812 to warn British forces of an impending American attack. Her action was instrumental in helping the British and their Mohawk allies prevent an American invasion at the Battle of Beaver Dams.
