Sounds a bit cheesy but,
I took a quiet moment to sit with my thoughts before picking up my kid from school. Lately, my mind has felt like a busy highway, thoughts speeding past in every direction. It can be overwhelming at times. My instinct is usually to chase them down or focus on a few, hoping to make sense of it all. But more often than not, that just adds to the noise.
Today, I tried something different. I took a few slow breaths and simply observed—no judgment, no chasing. Just watching them come and go. With time, those thoughts began to quiet down, drifting off like distant buildings in the rearview.
It reminded me that sometimes, clarity doesn’t come from solving every thought or problem, but from learning to let them pass and just be present for a little while.
